Sorry this is so late. The problem with the internet is that there is no day off, regardless of what day it is...

Happy weekend.  I've been hitting deadlines hard and not had much time for Eventing Day. As we grow closer to the last weekend in April this lack of time will likely increase. I'm sorry.

Years ago, when I was covering Fairhill I watched as a loose dog on course chased down a horse during a  XC run, promptly unseating the rider before scurrying away, dragging it's leash behind.  We all love our dogs at horse trials. Many a weekend have I spent with my leashed terrior-ists, tromping a cross-country course.  But, recently in England, a man was fined because hid tied-up dog was convicted of biting a man roaming between lorries and horse trailers during a horse trials.  Read more at http://www.horseandhound.co.uk/competitionnews/386/306071.html?aff=rss  Will we be far behind?
