Job Description
Looking for an energetic and enthusiastic assistant trainer who ideally has experience riding young horses, teaching up to the intermediate level western pleasure/trail, grooming, and handling on the ground. Will be producing bombproof, safe, trail horses using Monty Roberts methods. Ideally a patient, gentle, soft rider with some colt starting experience. Must also want to learn Monty Roberts Methods.  Looking for someone who is hard working and a detail oriented person with both great horse and people skills.

Requirements
Western Pleasure/trail riding ability.  Must have good horse sense and knowledge of horse health and care, grooming, bathing and leading. Has experience handling young stock, starting under saddle, long lining and cart training is a plus.

Facility
Located in beautiful Solvang, California, this 100 acre farm has a 40 stall training barn, 10 stall western barn, 20 stall shed row, 10 stall shed row, all with rubber mats.  There are also 20 starter/gentler pens, a mustang pen and a chute used for the international school also on the property.  Facility also includes large green pastures, 2 covered round pens with OttoSport footing, 2 outdoor round pens, an outdoor multi-disciplinary training arena, 24,000 foot covered arena, 5/8 mile race track, Aquatred, equine exerciser, and a USDA approved equine export facility.
